November 6, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw opened the home portion of the 2010-11 schedule with a sweep of Wittenberg and Franklin. The Tigers defeated Wittenberg, 200-98, and Franklin, 246-30. Wittenberg topped Franklin 246-30.
The Tigers opened with a win in the 200-yard medley relay as Cameron Wiethoff, Matt Kukurugya, Matt Gleason and Johnny Montgomery took first in 1:37.20. DePauw's 200 freestyle relay of Jack Burgeson, Montgomery, Baugh and Brendan Flores wrapped up the meet with a win in 1:27.30.
Kukurugya was a double-winner in the 100 breast (1:01.17) and the 200 breast (2:14.28) as was Gleason in the 200 butterfly (1:58.39) and the 200 individual medley (2:03.17). Montgomery also won two events as he took first in the 50 fee (21.78) and the 100 free (47.91).
Other DePauw winners included Baugh in the 200 free (1:47.12). Wiethoff in the 100 back (55.87). Matt Haseke in the 500 free (4:55.36) and Patrick Springer in 3-meter diving (208.70).
DePauw returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to Wabash for a 7 p.m. meet.
