Box Score November 5, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — Sixth-ranked Trinity scored three times in a stretch of less than 14 minutes and took a 3-1 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over DePauw at Boswell Field. DePauw dropped to 10-6 overall and 6-3 in the SCAC, while Trinity improved to 16-1 overall and 9-0 in the conference.
Julia Drummond gave DePauw a 1-0 lead at 57:34 on a penalty kick after a handball on Trinity in the box. Trinity knotted the score at 1-1 on Abigail Loar's goal at 65:03 before Loar put her team ahead with her second goal at 71:37. Katy Lipscomb wrapped up the scoring at 78:28 on Jordan Azar's assist.
Trinity held 13-8 edge in shots including 12-6 in the second half, while DePauw led in corners, 4-3. DePauw's Lauren Palfrey recorded four saves and Trinity's Katie Garrett had three.
DePauw wraps up the season on Sunday when it hosts Southwestern at 10 a.m.
