October 5, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  DePauw sophomore Emily White has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for her performances in games from September 27 through October 3.

White led the Tigers' defense in two SCAC shutout wins against Birmingham-Southern and Millsaps. With White's efforts, the DePauw defense allowed just 17 shots all weekend and nine corners.

She also got involved on the offensive end chipping in with a goal in the 3-0 win over Birmingham-Southern.

DePauw returns to action on Friday, October 8, when it hosts Rhodes at 6 p.m.
