October 29, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  DePauw dropped to 20-12 on the season after a 3-2 loss to Bluffton. The Beavers improved to 21-6.

The Tigers took the first game by a 25-22 score, but Bluffton rallied with 25-20 and 25-15 wins in the following two sets. DePauw knotted the match at 2-2 after taking the fourth set by a 25-16 score. The Beavers won the fifth set by a 15-12 count.

Abby Balbach and Paige Thompson each had 11 kills, while Ali Smith totaled 45 assists. Madison Hoenig led with two service aces and 19 digs, while Kristen Chynoweth had four blocks.

DePauw wraps up the home portion of its season tomorrow when it hosts Marian (Ind.) at 1 p.m.
