October 23, 2010, Atlanta, Ga. —  DePauw improved to 18-11 overall and 9-4 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference after sweeping its Saturday matches.

The Tigers opened with a 3-0 (28-26, 25-20, 27-25) win over Millsaps and followed with a 3-1 (28-30, 25-16, 25-22, 25-21) victory over Birmingham-Southern.

In the Millsaps match, Abby Balbach led with 11 1kills, while Kylee Lehrman had 23 digs and Madison Hoenig 22. Brianna Holder paced the squad with 40 assists and Hannah Nelson added five blocks.

Katie Petrovich led the Tigers with 12 kills against Birmingham-Southern, while Holder finished with 37 assists and Hoenig had 28 digs. Kristen Chynoweth and Balbach each had six blocks in the wins.

DePauw faces Hendrix and Sewanee on Sunday.
