October 16, 2010, Granville, Ohio — DePauw dropped to 10-3 on the season after dropping a 2-1 decision at Denison. The Big Red improved to 6-9 with the win.

Denison's Catie Merrick scored once in each half before the Tigers' Margaret Ellis scored at 43:27 to cut the hosts' lead to 2-1.

Ellis' goal was her 17th of the season which breaks the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference single season mark.

Denison held a 13-6 edge in shots and a 9-8 margin in corners. DePauw's Liz Attewell totaled six saves, while Denison's Brittany Benson had two.

DePauw travels to Washington & Jefferson tomorrow.
