October 1, 2010, Birmingham, Ala. — Three different DePauw players scored one goal apiece as the Tigers defeated Birmingham-Southern by a 3-0 score. DePauw improved to 5-3 overall and 3-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, while the Panthers dropped to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

Julia Drummond opened the scoring at 14:28 before Emily White made it 2-0 with just under two minutes left in the first half. Christy Fillenwarth wrapped up the scoring at 79:33.

The Tigers outshot Birmingham-Southern, 19-11, and held an8-3 edge in corners. Lauren Palfrey totaled five saves for DePauw and Richelle Byrd had seven for the Panthers.

DePauw travels to Millsaps for a Noon CDT game on Sunday.
