September 12, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. —  Wittenberg's Sheryl Chambers scored on an assist from Taylor Goss at 67:50 and gave Wittenberg a 1-0 win over DePauw. The Tigers dropped to 0-3-2, while Wittenberg improved to 3-0-2.

The Tigers outshot Wittenberg 9-5, while the visitors held a 3-1 edge in corners. Wittenberg's Melissa Gartner recorded the shutout and had two saves, while Caroline Kerr and Lauren Palfrey split time for DePauw. Kerr recorded three saves.

In the evening's first game, Ohio Northern's Angie Pisut scored one goal in each half to lift the Polar Bears to a 2-0 win over Centre. Pisut's first goal came on an assist from Alicia Palivoda.

Ohio Northern outshot Centre, 10-2, while Centre held a 4-2 edge in corners. Kristen DeWees posted the shutout for the Polar Bears, while Rosie McAuley had four saves for Centre.

DePauw returns to action on Tuesday, September 15, when it hosts Wheaton at 7 p.m.
