May 2, 2009, Terre Haute, Ind. —  The Tigers competed at the Pacesetter Invitational at Indiana State and were paced by Stephen Griffy's third-place finish in the javelin at 50.31 meters (165-1).

Among the other top finishers were Nick Pucillo in eighth in the 5,000 meters in 15:30.19 and Chris Dietrick in ninth in the 800 meters in 1:58.65. Bobby Dvorscak was ninth in the 400 hurdles in 1:08.22.

The Tigers compete in the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College in Naperville, Ill., on Thursday and Friday.
