March 26, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. —  DePauw entered the week with a 10-2 mark and remains ranked in both national polls. The Tigers are 16th in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 poll and seventh in the Division III Softball-The Newsletter weekly poll.

In the coaches' poll the Tigers totaled 81 points and didn't move from last week's rankings, while they dropped three spots from fourth in the Division III-The Newsletter poll.

The Tigers are now 10-4 after dropping a doubleheader at current unanimous number-one ranked Texas-Tyler. DePauw returns to action tonight at Louisiana College (2nd coaches/6th Div. III Newsletter) for a 4 p.m. CDT. They then face Mary Hardin-Baylor on Friday in a twinbill at Louisiana College before traveling to Mississippi College for a Saturday doubleheader.
