March 13, 2009, Terre Haute, Ind. —  DePauw junior Lauren Reich competed at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships this afternoon and finished sixth in her heat in 5:02.38. Her time was 12th among all 16 runners and just .31 seconds behind the 10th and final qualifying time for tomorrow's finals.

DePauw opens the outdoor portion of its season when it travels to the Rhodes Open in Memphis, Tenn., on March 21.
