October 25, 2009, Danville, Ky. —  DePauw improved to 26-6 overall and wrapped up Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play at 11-3 after wins over Birmingham-Southern and Centre today.

The Tigers topped Birmingham-Southern 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-18) as Kristen Chynoweth and Katey Larson led with eight kills each and Ali Smith had 31 assists. Kylee Lehrman led with 13 digs, while Chynoweth and Paige Thompson each had four blocks. Lehrman and Katie Carrico each totaled three aces.

DePauw wrapped up the weekend with a 3-1 (25-23, 18-25, 26-24, 25-17) win over Centre with Larson pacing the squad with 13 kills and Smith leading with 41 assists. Madison Hoenig totaled 27 digs and two aces with Thompson leading with nine blocks.

The Tigers host Illinois College on Friday night and Marian (Ind.) on Saturday.
