October 24, 2009, Danville, Ky. —  DePauw improved to 24-6 overall and 10-3 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with wins over Millsaps and Rhodes. The Tigers topped Millsaps, 3-1 (25-15, 19-25, 25-16,25-22), and Rhodes 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-12.

In the win over Millsaps, Abby Balbach led the Tigers with 10 kills, while Ali Smith totaled 33 assists and two service aces. Madison Hoenig paced DePauw with 22 digs, while Kristen Chynoweth and Paige Thompson each had six blocks.

Against Rhodes, Balbach totaled 12 kills, 14 digs and two aces, while Smith had 39 assists. Kyle Lehrman also had 14 digs and two aces and Kristen Chynoweth led with two blocks.

DePauw takes on Birmingham-Southern and Centre on Sunday.
