October 17, 2009, Colorado Springs, Colo. —  DePauw is 22-6 overall and 8-3 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference after splitting its two matches at the conference divisional at Colorado College.

The Tigers dropped the opening match of the day to 13th-ranked Southwestern by a 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-20) score before blanking Sewanee 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-15).

In the Southwestern match, Katey Larson and Paige Thompson each had seven kills, while Ali Smith totaled 30 assists. Kristen Chynoweth led with two service aces with Madison Hoenig totaling 15 digs and Larson adding five blocks.

Chynoweth had seven kills against Sewanee with Brianna Holder totaling 23 assists. Smith and Lerhman each had three aces with Lehrman leading with nine digs.

DePauw wraps up SCAC regular season play next weekend at Centre College with four matches.
