January 9, 2009, Terre Haute, Ind. — The 15th-ranked DePauw men improved to 5-2 on the season following a 128-108 win at Rose-Hulman.
Six different Tigers claimed firsts led by Charlie Boehme's (pictured) pool record in the 400-yard individual medley in 4:20.08. John Montgomery won the 200 freestyle in 1:47.82, while Steve Klabak was first in the 50 free in 22.26 seconds and Kyle Kerrigan was the 100 free winner in 50.69 seconds.
Dan DeGeus won the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.57 and the 200 medley relay of Klabak, DeGeus, Brogan Runion and Montgomery won in 1:39.92.
DePauw returns to action on January 16-17 at the Washington-St. Louis Invitational.
