September 28, 2008, Atlanta, Ga. - DePauw won both of its Sunday Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference matches and improved to 13-6 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
DePauw topped Austin 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-20) and then beat Oglethorpe 3-1 (26-28, 25-14, 25-16, 25-21).
In the Austin match, Dana Genet led with 14 digs and two aces, while Ali Smith had 32 assists and Kristen Chynoweth totaled six blocks and eight kills.
Erin Cunningham had 11 kills against Oglethorpe, while Emily Smith finished with 30 digs. Ali Smith had 37 assists with Chynoweth recording six blocks.
The Tigers travel to Jackson, Miss., for October 4-5 SCAC matches.
