September 27, 2008, Atlanta, Ga. - DePauw opened Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with a pair of losses and dropped to 11-6 on the season.

In their first match, the Tigers jumped out to an early lead after winning the first set, but Colorado College defeated DePauw 3-1 (18-25, 25-22, 25-21, 26-24). Kristen Chynoweth paced the Tigers with 11 kills, while Emily Smith recorded 21 digs. Adrienne Cobb totaled seven blocks and Ali Smith finished with 40 assists.

Fifth-ranked Trinity then topped the Tigers 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-22). Emily Smith paced DePauw with 30 digs, while Chynoweth led with six blocks and Ali Smith had 22 assists.

On Sunday, DePauw faces Austin at 11 a.m. and Oglethorpe at 3 p.m.
