September 27, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - Sarah Humphries scored on a penalty strok 6:55 into the first overtime and gave Centre a 3-2 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory over DePauw.
The Tigers dropped to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the SCAC, while Centre improved to 8-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
Sarah Riffle and Meredith Ellis scored unassisted, first-half goals to give DePauw a 2-0 lead before Centre's Beth Faulkner closed the gap to 2-1 on Rachel Watkins' assist at 24:32. Watkins knotted the score at 2-2 at 47:22 on Faulkner's assist.
DePauw outshot Centre, 12-9 and held an 18-9 edge in corners. Liz Attewell recorded six saves for DePauw, while Centre's Patty Crowley totaled six.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, October 11, when they host Sewanee at 11 a.m.
