September 21, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw and Oglethorpe competed in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest at Boswell Field and battled to a 1-1 tie.

The Tigers are now 3-1-3 overall and 1-0-1 in the SCAC, while the Stormy Petrels are 2-3-2 overall and 0-1-1 in the conference.

Michael Muller put Oglethorpe on the board at 15:30 on a header before DePauw's Salvatore Greco scored from the top of the box on Brian Lawless' assist at 82:45.

Late in the second overtime Adam Davis nearly gave the Tigers the victory, but his shot rolled off the left post.

Oglethorpe outshot DePauw 17-12 and DePauw held a 5-4 advantage in corners. DePauw's Ted Jaboci recorded four saves in goal, while the Stormy Petrels' Michael Hadjisimos posted one.

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, September 27, when they travel to Franklin for an 11 a.m. contest.

NOTES: DePauw's three ties are already the most in a DePauw season.
