September 12, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw opened the home portion of its season against Taylor and dropped a 3-1 decision. The Trojans won by scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-20. DePauw dropped to 7-3, while Taylor improved to 10-2.

Erin Cunningham paced the Tigers with 12 kills followed by Adrienne Cobb with 11. Ali Smith led with 37 assists and four blocks, while Emily Smith and Dana Genet each totaled 21 digs.  

DePauw returns to action on Tuesday, September 16, when it hosts Franklin at 7 p.m.
