August 30, 2008, Gambier, Ohio - Meredith Ellis' goal midway through the second overtime lifted DePauw to a 2-1 win at Kenyon in the season opener for both schools.

Sarah Riffle gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead on an unassisted goal with eight minutes remaining in regulation before Kenyon's Kelly Adams forced the overtime on an assist from Holly Bacon with just under four minutes left. Ellis' goal came with 6:58 left in the second extra session.

DePauw outshot Kenyon 26-9 and held a 11-7 edge in penalty corners. Liz Attewell recorded six saves for the Tigers, while Karen Thompson had 17 for the Ladies.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, September 6, when they travel to Ohio Wesleyan.
