August 29, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - Mike Harris and Brad Kean each scored second-half goals to lead DePauw to a 2-0 win over Holy Cross (Ind.) in the Tigers' season opener at Boswell Field. Holy Cross dropped to 0-2 with the loss.

Harris put the Tigers on the board first on a free kick at 53:06, while Kean followed with the second and final tally at 58:13

DePauw outshot the Saints 16-5 and held a 10-2 edge in corners. Ted Jacobi recorded one save, while Holy Cross finished with 10.

The win marked the first for Brad Hauter '87 as just the third head coach in DePauw's 43-year program history.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, September 6, when they face Albion at Denison.
