March 28, 2008, Fort Myers, Fla. - Third-ranked DePauw improved to 21-1 on the season and extended its school-record win streak to 21 straight after a 7-4 win over MIT in their final game at the Gene Cusic Classic.

The Tigers jumped out to a 5-0 lead with four in the second and one in the third before MIT clsoed the gap to 5-4 after plating three in the fourth and one in the sixth. DePauw sealed the win with two in the bottom of the sixth.

Eight different DePauw players collected one hit each with Brianne Weeks driving in three. Keri Dixon and Jenny Li each had two of MIT's six hits.

Megan Soultz picked up the win and improved to 19-1 after pitching a total of 4 1/3 innings of scoreless ball. Jessica Oleinik suffered the loss.

DePauw returns to action on Tuesday, April 1, when it hosts Illinois Wesleyan in a 3 p.m. doubleheader.
