March 22, 2008, Terre Haute, Ind. - Several Tigers competed at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational with four individuals and two relays taking home first-place finishes.

Mike Benton won the discus throw with a toss of 131-6 (40.08 meters) as did Stephen Griffy with a javelin throw of 167-07 (51.09 meters). Ryan McElwain won the shot put with a throw of 49-1.5 (14.97 meters) and Dusty Kime took first in the 5,000 meters in 15:26.11.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, April 5, when they host the DePauw Invitational at Blackstock Stadium.
