March 12, 2008, Terre Haute, Ind. - Seventh-ranked DePauw improved to 7-1 and extended its win streak to seven with a 5-1 win at St. Mary-of-the-Woods.

The Tigers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the before the Pomerorys countered with one in the bottom of the third. DePauw added two more in the seventh to seal the win.

Carolyn Bartlett and Rachel Gill each collected two of DePauw's eight hits. KEa Silcokc finished with two of St. Mary-of-the-Woods' five hits.

Megan Soultz struck out nine and allowed five hits in improving to 7-1, while Ashley Loomis suffered the loss.

DePauw travels to Jackson, Miss., where they'll play six games from Friday through Sunday.
