15th-Ranked Tigers in Second at SCAC Championships

February 14, 2008, Dallas, Texas - The 15th-ranked Tigers are in second after the first day of swimming at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships. Trinity leads with 284.5 points, while DePauw is second with 248 and Centre is third with 214.

The Tigers' 200-yard freestyle relay of Katie Doogan, Katie Massey, Amanda Stier and Madison Hamil opened with a win in a conference and school-record as well as NCAA "B" cut time of 1:36.97.

Callie Boehme followed with a win in the 500 free in 5:09.38, while Doogan won the 200 individual medley in a "B" cut time of 2:09.37. Maddison Hamil was runner-up in the 50 freestyle in a "B" cut time of 24.29 seconds before the 400 medley relay won in 4:00.55
