DePauw Advances to SCAC Semifinals with Win over Austin

November 7, 2008, Memphis, Tenn. - Fourth-seed DePauw advanced to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship semifinals following a 3-1 (24-26, 27-25, 25-22, 25-21) victory over fifth-seed Austin. The Tigers improved to 24-13, while the Kangaroos finished the season at 21-12

Adrienne Cobb and Kristen Chynoweth paced DePauw with 12 kills apiece, while Cobb led with 10 blocks. Ali Smith chipped in with 40 assists and Emily Smith added 26 digs.

DePauw's semifinal match is set for 11:15 a.m. CST on Saturday as the Tigers take on top-seed Southwestern.
