November 1, 2008, Louisville, Ky. - DePauw opened the 2008-09 season with a split as it defeated Centre by a 195-104 score, but lost to Washington & Lee, 155-139.

Dan DeGeus won both the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:01.47 and the 200 breast in 2:15.92, while John Cook took first in the 100 freestyle in 46.51 seconds.

DePauw's 200-yard medley relay of Steve Klabak, Josh Baugh, Brogan Runion and Cook won in 1:37.41 as did the 400 free relay of John Montgomery, Kyle Kerrigan, Klabak and Cook in 3:12.60.

The Tigers host Washington-St. Louis at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
