October 4, 2008, Jackson, Miss. - DePauw improved to 15-6 overall and 4-2 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference after sweeping its Saturday matches. 

DePauw topped Hendrix 3-0 (25-9, 25-18, 25-17) and then defeated Millsaps 3-1.

In the Hendrix match, Lauren Sloan paced the Tigers with eight kills, while Emily Smith totaled 10 digs. Adrienne Cobb added seven kills and four blocks.

Cobb paced DePauw with 17 kills in the Millsaps match, while Kristen Chynoweth and Katey Larson each recorded four blocks. Ali Smith led with 39 assists and Emily Smith totaled 32 digs.

The Tigers face Rhodes and Sewanee on Sunday.
