January 19, 2008, St. Louis, Mo. - The ninth-ranked Tigers totaled 744 points and finished second to Missouri Science & Technology's 864 at the Washington University Invitational.
DePauw's Rob Alexander won the 100-yard freestyle in 47.15 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 51.89 seconds and finished second in the 50 free in 21.93 seconds.
John Cook won the 50 free in 21.88 seconds and finished third in both the 100 free in 47.15 seconds and the 200 fee in 1:46.76. Adam Wishart was third in three-meter diving with 397.85 points.
The Tigers won two relays as Steve Klabak, Dan DeGeus, Alexander and Cook took first in the 200 medley relay in 1:37.08 and Cook, Klabak, Greg Nowak and Alexander won the 200 free relay in 1:26.08. DePauw's 400 free relay of Cook, Klabak, Nowak and Alexander finished second in 3:09.87.
DePauw hosts Wabash at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 25 and Illinois Wesleyan on January 26 at 1 p.m..
