September 3, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - Jackie Smith scored on Carolyn Mueller's assist with just 9:36 remaining and lifted DePauw to a 2-1 win over visiting Wittenberg. DePauw improved to 1-2 with head coach Gina Preston's first collegiate victory, while Wittenberg dropped to 0-1.

The visiting Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the first half on Boo Vernon's goal before DePauw knotted the contest at 1-1 on Ashely Fehr's score with an assist from Beth Seegers at 48:25.

DePauw hosts Lindenwood on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
