September 22, 2007, Danville, Ky. - DePauw dropped to 10-4 on the season and saw its eight-game win streak ended at the first of two days of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference East/West Divisional.
Fifth-ranked Trinity topped the Tigers 3-0 (30-26, 30-18, 30-26), while 18th-ranked Southwestern defeated DePauw 3-1 (20-30, 31-29, 30-28, 30-26).
In the Trinity match,
Kim Hamer paced the Tigers with 11 kills and four blocks, while
Sarah Drew totaled 30 assists.
Loren Sloan paced the squad with 11 digs.
Kate Carrico led with three service aces.
Hamer led DePauw with 16 blocks against Southwestern, while Sloan recorded 12 kills and Hamer added 11. Emily Smith led the way with 24 digs with Drew totaling 28 assists. Hamer and Dana Genet each had two service aces.
DePauw faces Colorado College and Sewanee on Sunday.
