October 14, 2007, Danville, Ky. - DePauw opened the 2007-08 swimming and diving season with a 192-89 win at Centre.

Brock Sishc and Rob Alexander each won three events to lead the Tigers. Sishc took firsts in the 200-yard butterfly (2:05.47), 200 backstroke (2:05.05) and the 200 individual medley (2:05.96). Alexander won the 50 freestyle (21.77 seconds), 100 free (48.10) and 100 fly (52.83).

Four different Tigers won one event each as John Cook won the 200 free in 1:47.65, Steve Klabak took the 100 back in 56.91 seconds, Gib Wallace won the 100 breast in 1:02.92 and Alex Troxel claimed first in the 200 breast in 2:19.52.

DePauw won both relays as they took the 200 medley relay in 1:41.71 and the 200 free relay in 1:27.76. 

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, October 27, at Washington University.
