October 12, 2007, San Antonio, Texas - DePauw's five-match win streak came to an end in its first match of SCAC Divisional play at Trinity as Austin topped the Tigers 3-1 (30-17, 28-30, 30-25, 30-22). The Tigers rebounded by defeating Southwestern 3-0 (30-19, 30-24, 31-29)

Kim Hamer led DePauw with 11 kills against Austin, while Sarah Drew added 44 assists and Emily Smith had 23 digs. Adrienne Cobb paced the team with six aces. In the win over Southwestern Christina Dickerson paced the team with 11 kills, while Drew had 43 assists and Smith 18 digs. Hamer finished with eight blocks.

The Tigers (18-8, 4-5 SCAC) face Centre and Trinity on Saturday.
