January 27, 2007, Chicago, Ill. - The seventh-ranked Tigers finished the dual meet portion of their season with an 8-1 record after a 150-144 win at 22nd-ranked University of Chicago.
Rob Alexander was a triple winner with firsts in the 50-yard freestyle in 21.61 seconds, the 100 free in 47.60 and the 100 butterfly in 51.76.
Mike Metroka won both one- and three-meter diving with scores of 151.25 and 152.30, respectively. John Cook won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:45.38 and Brock Sishc took first in the 200 backstroke in 1:59.85.
The meet was decided by the winning 200 free relay of Cook, Kyle Kerrigan, Steve Klabak and Greg Nowak in 1:26.90.
DePauw, along with Centre and Sewanee, hosts the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, February 7-10, at Crawfordsville High School with diving at Wabash College.
