January 16, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw improved to 13-3 with its fourth straight win as the Tigers defeated visiting Rose-Hulman, 58-43. The Engineers dropped to 6-11 with the loss.
Rose-Hulman led briefly in the first half before DePauw went on a 9-0 run over a seven-minute stretch to take a 15-9 advantage on the way to a 27-17 halftime lead. DePauw scored the first three points of the second half and the Engineers got no closer than 11 the rest of the way.
Mike Moore led the Tigers with 18 points and hit 3-of-5 three-pointers, while Austin Brown and Matt McDonald each added 10. Stephen Schott paced DePauw with eight rebounds as the Tigers held a 36-25 edge on the boards. David Yaraschefski paced the Engineers with 20 points and five rebounds.
DePauw shot 48.9 percent from the floor and limited the Engineers to just 33.9 percent including just 1-of-16 from three-point range.
