January 13, 2007, Bloomington, Ill. - The eighth-ranked Tigers improved to 6-1 on the season following a 163.5-88.5 win at Illinois Wesleyan.
The Tigers won eight individual events and both relays as John Cook and Charlie Boehme each won two events.
Cook won the 200-yard freestule in 1:47.70 and the 400 individual medley in 4:25.66. Boehme took firsts in the 1650 free in 17:44.62 and the 400 individual medley in 4:25.66.
Other individual winners included Steve Klabak (100 backstroke, 57.42), Dan DeGeus (100 breaststroke, 1:01.65), Brock Sishc (200 back, 2:02.45) and Robert Alexander (100 butterfly, 53.58).
The 200-yard medley of Michael Young, DeGeus, Ben Armstrong and Klabak won in 1:42.50 as did the 400 free relay of Cook, Kyle Kerrigan, Greg Nowak and Alexander in 3:18.05.
DePauw competes at the Washington-St. Louis Invitational, January 19-20.
