September 3, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw scored twice in the final 14 minutes and claimed a 3-1 victory over visiting Alma. The Tigers even their season mark at 1-1, while the Scots dropped to 1-1 with the loss.

Nick Noel scored two goals and assisted on the other and got the scoring underway at 14:32 on a penalty kick. Alma's Mark Daisy knotted the score at 1-1 on Ben Queen's assist at 59:07.

The Tigers took the lead for good on Matt Maney's goal at 76:51 with an assist from Noel before Noel added DePauw's third goal at 88:58.

DePauw outshot Alma 24-5 and held a 6-2 edge in corners. John Fenley recorded one save for the Tigers while Don Potter totaled five off the bench for Alma.

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, September 9, when it hosts Wittenberg at 3 p.m.
