March 4, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw improved to 3-1 with a doubleheader sweep of visiting Franklin. The Tigers won the first game, 5-0, and the nightcap, 5-4.

Lauren Curosh pitched a two-hit shutout in the first game to improve to 2-1 on the season. Jessica Krueger, Laura Schlensker, Rachel Gill and Ashley Sewell each collected two hits for the Tigers, while Sewell drove in a pair.

Carolyn Bartlett's single in the bottom of the seventh of the second game plated pinch-runner Annie Morgan with the game-winning run. Bartlett and Rees each had two hits in the win, while Katherin Veatch picked up the win in the circle.

DePauw travels to Hanover for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday, March 11.
