March 31, 2006, Fort Myers, Fla. - DePauw wrapped up its play at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic by dropping its final two games. The Tigers lost to Luther by a 4-3 score and to Wisconsin-Whitewater by a 5-4 count.

DePauw took a 3-1 lead into the seventh in the Luther game, but the Norse scored three in the bottom of the seventh to take the win. Five different Tigers collected one hit each and Lauren Curosh dropped to 8-6 with the loss.

Against Wisconsin-Whitewater, the Tigers led 4-2 before the Warhawks scored one in the fourth and two in the fifth. DePauw totaled just three hits with three different players finishing with one each including Carolyn Bartlett with a two-run homer in the first. Katherine Veatch dropped to 6-1 with the loss.
