February 10, 2006, Cleveland, Miss. - The DePauw men's swimming and diving team totaled 238.5 points and holds a narrow lead over Trinity after Thursday's competition at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships.
Trinity is second with 229 points, while Rose-Hulman is third with 200 and Sewanee fourth with 199.
The 200-yard free relay of Landon Boehm, Peter Riggs, Gregg Nowak and Robert Alexander finished second in 1:25.40.
Alexander successfully defended his title in the 50 free by winning in 21.22 seconds which also was an NCAA Provisional qualifying time.
Brock Sishc earned all-SCAC honors in the 200 individual medley with a third-place finish in 1:58.53 and the 400 medley relay of Gib Wallace, Michael Young, Boehm and Alexander placed second in 3:36.56.
