November 5, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw wrapped up the regular season with a 2-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over visiting Austin and now await word on a possible at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Championship.

The Tigers scored once in each half in improving to 12-4 overall and 7-2 in the SCAC, while Austin finished at 10-8-1 overall and 5-4 in the conference.

Jacki Ponder scored just 5:10 into the contest and Katy Phillips added the second goal at 57:40 on an assist from Emily Petrus.

DePauw outshot Austin 12-1 and held a 12-0 edge in corners. Brooke Shipley and Brittany Leerkamp were in goal for the Tigers' shutout, while the Kangaroos' Allison Wurmbrand recorded seven saves.
