November 17, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw improved to 5-1 on the season and raised its home win streak to 19 straight after sweeping Transylvania and Wheaton at the Erdmann Natatorium. The Tigers defeated Transylvania, 166-71, and Wheaton, 157-74. Wheaton defeated Transylvania, 126-95.
Rob Alexander was a double winner with firsts in the 50-yard freestyle in 21.79 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 53.39. John Cook won both the 200-yard freestyle in 1:46.95 and the 500 free in 5:00.50.
Other DePauw winners included Greg Nowak in the 100 free in 49.06 and Gib Wallace in the 100 back in 56.17.
The Tigers compete in the Wabash Invitational on Saturday.
