October 6, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw improved to 6-3 overall and 4-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference following a 1-0 overtime win over Sewanee. The visting Tigers dropped to 2-7 overall and o-4 in the conference.

Becca Gaines scored the game-winner on an assist from Catherine Joliat just 3:53 into the first overtime.

DePauw outshot Sewanee 14-3 and held a 10-2 advantage in corners. Kaitlin Thomure recorded three saves on the way to her second shutout of the season. Clarkie Crawford totaled seven saves for Sewanee.

DePauw hosts Rhodes on Sunday at 11 a.m.
