October 28, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - The Tigers improved to 17-12 on the season following a 3-1 win over visiting Defiance (8-18). DePauw won by scores of 30-11, 27-30, 30-22, 30-21.

Kim Hamer led the Tigers with 18 kills, while Loren Sloan added 14. Sherise Denny totaled three aces, while Hannah Cheesman led the way with 26 digs.

The Tigers compete in the final Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Cross-Divisional, November 3-5.
