October 22, 2006, San Antonio, Texas - Top-ranked Trinity scored three first-half goals and they held up in a 5-1 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over DePauw.
DePauw dropped to 8-7 overall and 3-3 in the SCAC, while Trinity improved to 15-0 overall and 6-0 in the conference.
Josh Peterson scored, unassisted, at 16:44 before Ben Stewart scored 49 seconds later on German Gomez's assist. Mike Marino capped off the first half scoring with a penalty kick at 35:13.
Scott Noel scored DePauw's only goal on Jeremy Rielley's assist at 46:09 before Trinity's Kyle Altman scored on a penalty kick at 50:52 and Matt Beham scored the final goal on Marino's assist at 84:30.
Trinity outshot DePauw 22-4 and held a 3-1 edge in corners.
DePauw travels to Centre on Saturday.
