October 17, 2006, Richmond, Ind. - Becca Gaines and Allison Baccich each scored twice and led DePauw to a 6-1 win at Earlham. DePauw improved to 8-5, while the Quakers dropped to 2-12.

Gaines and Jen Snow gave the Tigers a 2-0 first-half lead with Beth Seegers assisting on the first. Baccich scored on an assist from Meredith Ellis before Gaines scored, unassisted, to make it 4-0.

Earlham's Becca Jordan scored with just under eight minutes left on an assist from Liz Buehler before Baccich made it 5-1 with an assist from Carolyn Mueller and Catherine Joliat rounded out the scoring on an assist from Seegers with less than a minute left.

DePauw outshot Earlham, 25-9, and held a a 13-4 edge in corners. Kaitlin Thomure recorded four saves for the Tigers, while Katherine McDonough had 11 for the Quakers.

The Tigers travel to Washington & Jefferson on Friday evening.
