October 1, 2006, Memphis, Tenn. - The 16th-ranked Tigers improved to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference following a 3-2 win at Rhodes.
Bridget Nicholson gave the host Lynx a 1-0 lead at 33:09 before DePauw's Lauren DaSilveira tied it with 25 seconds left in the half. Rhodes regained the lead with an own goal at 64:34 before DePauw tied the game at 70:15 on an own goal. Kristen McMahon scored the game winner at 72:21.
DePauw outshot Rhodes 13-11 and each team had three corners. Brooke Shipley recorded five saves in goal for the Tigers, while Becca Clarin had three saves for Rhodes.
The Tigers host Oglethorpe on Friday at 3 p.m.
