September 27, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw women's soccer team improved to 3-4 on the season following a 2-0 win over visiting Manchester at Boswell Field. The Spartans dropped to 6-2-2 with the loss.
Mary Beth Robinson gave the Tigers all they would need on an assist from Stefanie Baldauf at 34:12. Kates St. Germain made it 2-0 with an assist from Emily Petrus at 84:55.
DePauw outshot Manchester 17-5 and held a 4-0 advantage in corners. Brooke Shipley recorded her third shutout as she totaled three saves. Bri Sawa recorded 11 saves for the Spartans.
The Tigers open Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Saturday when they host Rose-Hulman at 11 a.m.
