September 25, 2005, Danville, Ky. - DePauw improved to 14-4 overall and 4-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference following a pair of 3-0 victories at the SCAC East Divisional at Centre.
DePauw opened Sunday's play with a 30-19, 30-16, 30-19 win over Sewanee. Ali Pinkston, Kim Hamer and Liz Pollom each had seven kills with Sherise Denny totaling 21 assists. Jenni Zeser led the way with 12 digs with Hamer recording nine blocks and Sarah Drew totaling nine aces.
The Tigers then defeated Centre 30-21, 30-23, 30-23. Hamer and Christina Dickerson each had nine kills in the win with Denny totaling 20 assists. Zeser led the Tigers with 14 digs, while Hamer and Ackermann each finished with five blocks.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, October 1, when the face Kenyon and Capital in matches at Rose-Hulman.
